Anesthesia Services and Billing Information

PRE-PAYMENT

Once you have scheduled your surgery please call Accupro at (817) 330-1102. A prepayment of $200.00 will be due to customers with commercial insurance plans. You will need to provide the billing company your name, the date of the procedure, and the name of the anesthesia company performing your anesthesia (Third Coast Anesthesia Associates, PLLC).

The payment you make is only a portion of your financial responsibility. Differences in procedures and anesthesia time may change the total cost. Once your insurance processes our claim for payment, they will determine your actual out-of-pocket expense. In the event your insurance covers all expenses, money will be refunded to you.

Medicare & Medicaid patients will be billed at standard rates.

Primary and secondary insurance will be billed first to determine the remaining payment. Cash prices are available through inquiry at (361) 894-1414.

Please note: Accupro accepts both debit and credit cards.

A board-certified provider from Third Coast Anesthesia Associates (TCAA) will be rendering anesthesia services for your medical procedure. Anesthesia and medical monitors are utilized to keep you safe and comfortable during your surgery.

TCAA providers are not employed by the facilities where we provide service or by the surgeons performing the procedures. Therefore, the fees for services rendered will be billed to you separately. The bill from the hospital or clinic may include anesthesia charges related to the equipment, drugs, and other supplies used for your care. Our bill is for professional services provided by TCAA, PLLC.

Should you have questions regarding the clinical component of our services, we encourage you to address those with the anesthesia professional who provides your care. Prior to your surgery date, someone from TCAA will contact you to obtain a brief health history and answer questions.

The insurance information you provide will be used to file a claim with your insurance carrier. We have contracts with most insurance plans. If your insurance is out of network we will work collaboratively with you to help you secure correct coverage for the services we provide. Our affiliated billing company can discuss the cost of the professional anesthesia services we provide, and discuss payment options for any portion of the bill that is not covered by your insurance (for example: co-insurance, deductibles, etc).

INFORMATION YOU WILL NEED:

  1. Your Name & Date of Surgery

  2. Planned Procedure

  3. Estimated OR/procedure time

The previous information will be used to provide the billing company with patient information.

NOTE: ALL ESTIMATES prior to surgery are subject to change.

Should the planned procedure or the estimated duration of the procedure change, the amount of the final charge will be adjusted. Your actual fnancial responsibility could be higher or lower based on these factors.
